About

Hi, I’m Avery — so happy you’re here!

From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to creating — crafting, painting, and documenting little pieces of life. I carried my first digital point-and-shoot camera everywhere, setting up little photoshoots with my friends and capturing anything that sparked my curiosity. Over time, that simple joy grew into a deep love for storytelling through photographs — holding onto fleeting moments and preserving the emotion within them.

Photography fills a creative space in me that nothing else can. It’s a way to slow down, to connect, and to find beauty in the everyday.

My greatest goal is to create an experience that feels genuine — to build a connection with every person I photograph, and to capture the quiet, in-between moments that will be cherished for years to come. I love documenting unique love stories and getting to know people through my lens, and I feel endlessly grateful for the chance to create.

I work full-time in marketing and live in a beautiful little town in Northern Michigan with my husband. We love slow mornings (especially with a good cup of coffee), spontaneous adventures, and thrifting for vintage finds. You’ll often find us outdoors, soaking up the beauty of nature — hiking, chasing sunsets, swimming in the summer, skiing in the winter, or simply enjoying the stillness of the lake.

At my core, I’m a creative — I love crocheting, crafting, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Above all, my faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe God has given me this gift to serve others and reflect His beauty, just as 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us — “Use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.” I’m so thankful for this life and for every opportunity to capture moments that mean something.

I can’t wait to get to know you and hear about all your photo hopes and dreams.
